Should We Have To Be Professional In Family?
Have you ever thought about being professional in family?
I have noticed few people who use to be like being at the office when they are at family. I like it. Even taking care of your family is something like a job. And it seems fair and correct to behave professionally. However I’m not sure about being professional.
What do I mean by being professional and why do I insist at that? Because people behave as they behave with their friends, even at family. They do as they like and they do whatever they want. There are no rules and standards. Because of it family doesn’t improve and grow, rather it becomes something that everyone comments and criticises.
People actually don’t respect family and they don’t understand how important and beautiful a family is. They just marry, reproduce, accumulate wealth and believe that its family. Something robotic or something like a business.
I was actually frustrated when I learnt people were using family like a business. And then I learned that they made a mistake. May be it has to be professional and not a business. When I say profession, I mean that there are some rules, discipline, principles and standards.
Usually people doesn’t bother much about how a family should be. They bother about only money and selfishness. So it becomes a business.
I can tell you that all families are beautiful. I can tell you lies like that. But I prefer saying you the truth. Family is either a business or something unprofessional. A true and beautiful family is rare.
I prefer family to be something like professional. Irrespective of the word I use, I intend to say that a family needs to have some standards or you need to know how to play the game.
Economy and money matters. It’s the same in a business. What differs in a family is the love. In a family love should be prioritised much than the economy. There shouldn’t be selfishness in family. Everyone in the family shouldn’t be selfish. You need to understand the importance of a family and all the rules in it.
A family will flourish when you play it well.
